Shakti International organization donated sanitary pad vending machines and incinerator machines to Kasturba Gandhi Girls School Hanorli, Vikramgard. The head of the school, Mr. Chaudhari, and the superintendent of Zilla Parishad Palghar Schools, Mr. Ajit Bhoye were present for the event organized at school. The program introduction was performed by the principal of Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Ms. Kirti Kiran Thorat. The founders of Shakti International, Ms. Anoushka Jha and Aditi Jha, were present for the event. The inaugural event was held at the school and this organization pledged to keep supplying pads and further assistance to help the students at the school. Ms. Manasi educated the girls about menstrual hygiene and nutrition. Mr. Bhoye briefed the dignitaries about the school and wished the students all the best for their academic years. The warden of the Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Mangala Telgote, discussed the purpose of Shakti International, founded by American high school students Anoushka Jha, Aditi Jha and Indra Khariwala.
